Built from my post-game Facebook updates...

They captured their cruellest adversary, discovered a shocking twist, nearly got eaten by a crocodile, calmed a riot, rescued a noble and met a queen!

The party was brought together by Zellara, and started at each other's throats.
Party consists of:
Grogan of McGirk - LG Dwarf Paladin (Tortured)
Prask (Lastname Withheld) – LE Human Rogue (Freelance Assassin. Lamm owes him money)
Xipi Tinytoes – CG Gnome Bard (Addict. A once famous actress seeking to reclaim her glory)
Julius Ahab – N Half-Elf Ranger (Endrin's son was kidnapped by Lamm. Ahab is a Marine)
Artemis – NG Half-Elf Druid (Tortured)
Kael – N Elf Universalist Wizard (Framed)

Spoiler:

Started with individual interludes reminding them why they hated Lamm. Nightmares, overdue bills, and failed auditions and university interviews abounded. The party began with subterfuge, but quickly had the Fishery degenerate into violence. I cheated a little to make Gaedren a bit more competent. The noble they rescued was a Carowyn, this was in preparation for an interlude later.

DM_DudeMeister 's players arrested the cow hammer boys, sobered up a drunken guard and met the most charming duelist. Next week, the sins of Eel's End.

Spoiler:

The best part was Prask's discovery of the knife. The sociopath loves anything sharp and deadly, of course the Wizard is being driven crazy by the fact his spells don't seem to identify the knife. Hypnotism and Colour Spray are very handy. Oh and Xipi slid between one of the Cow Hammer Boys' legs and neutered him.

The characters took an immediate interest in Vencarlo Orisini, I love it when I don't have to do any hard work.

DM_DudeMeister's party broke up a protest and stood up against the Hellknights, fought when they should have ran, ran when they should have fought, and drank when they should have stayed. Still glorious victory!

Spoiler:

Eel's End was... interesting. The Paladin and Ranger went drinking. The druid (a female) went whoring. Leaving the rogue, bard and wizard to deal with Devargo Barvasi. Everything was going smooth until the Bard realised she wanted to rescue the Pseudodragon. They negotiated a trade, a 5,000 gp diamond for the dragon. They used the Major Image to create the diamond, which of course didn't last long. Barvasi was not happy about that and then it was on. Crazy ship-to-dock-to-ship battle! In the end the players emerged victorious (mostly thanks to the wizard's colour sprays).

DM_DudeMeister's s players trained with a master swordsman, attended a fancy party and landed a lucrative deal.

Spoiler:
I inserted a party at Carowyn Manor many nobles were invited to (including the Arkonas). Glorio Arkonas seeing the way the wind is blowing took the opportunity to rent out Eel's End to the players. The ranger played Drink Fight with the head of Carowyn Manor. The wizard had a fateful meeting with the elf who would become new Dean of the Theumanexis Academy. The bard met a director of a new play. The assassin was part of the deal that Arkonas brokered. The party started to learn the backstory between Soldado, Orisini and the head of the Gray Maidens. Also the entire party trained with Vencarlo gaining minor bonuses. This was the first adventure where the group named themselves “The Proclaimers”, and officially recognised themselves as an adventuring troupe.
The party climaxed with the queen's arrival, and her declaring the bounty on the head of Trinia. The party bard knew Trinia from her old life and was distressed. The party was summoned back to the Citadel for their briefing.

DM_DudeMeister's Thursday Night group "The Proclaimers" started the arduous task of business ownership, earned their hippogryph (or rather Red Crested Hippocaw), entered the Dead Warrens and fought skeletal mutants, and horrid Derro!

Spoiler:
The party chased down Trinia and got into a pretty interesting moral dilemma about what to do with the girl. The wizard figured out via detect thoughts the girl was innocent. The paladin decided that the rule of law had to be upheld, and if she was truly innocent she'd be discovered as such in a trial. The ranger's hippogryph is actually a Red Crested Hippocaw (part Red Crested Macaw part black arabian horse) to go with his pirate theme. They managed to just beat through the damage reduction of the skeletons without bludgeoning weapons, but the ranger nearly dropped.

DM_DudeMeister's party defeated a horribly inbred ogrekin, a sneaky apprentice, went outside the box to defeat a trap, and paralysed a monster with mad skillz. They proceeded to foil an execution, meet a vigilante, incite a riot and save the day. Much pride for "The Proclaimers of Eel's End" in my Curse of the Crimson Throne Game.

Spoiler:

The fight with Vreeg combined with a fight with Cabbagehead, and was pretty tough for the party. I played them up as equal parts hilarious and scary. They had twice avoided the skull room trap, (but knew the room was trapped). Knowing they didn't have enough time to disarm the trap before it would activate they decided to use the Robe of Bones to throw a Fast Goblin Zombie into that room to see what would happen. The wizard realised he couldn't control the zombie and shut the door. They listened to the zombie handily defeat the skeletal snake monsters (piercing vs DR/slashing and bludgeoning against bludgeoning vs DR/bludgeoning meant the zombie had no problem. When the room went quiet, the PCs followed afterwards (the rogue disarming the trap on the way). They found the zombie terrorising the last remaining Derro. After it died the PCs finished off the zombie.

The PCs headed topside with all the body parts. They quickly found out about the scheduled execution, and after some info gathering realised that the queen had likely rigged Trinia's trial. Even the paladin wouldn't stand for that, he and the bard went to visit Vencarlo who wasn't in at the time. The big finale went perfectly (with the hippocaw mounted ranger swooping in to knock down the executioner and pulling Blackjack out of danger). The rest of the party started riots and distracted guards long enough for the vigilante to escape. Then lost themselves in the chaos.

Today his players invested in their city, plotted their future and witnessed dark portents.

Spoiler:

The party worked on the businesses they are running, leasing and controlling during their month off. During the grand opening of their new bar (yet to be named), they saw a ship get sunk in the harbour. Finally they learned that the Queen's uncle was coming into the city, ostensibly to be declared the new Seneschal. Prask was hired to poison the man, Xipi was tasked with recruiting her party into a play, and Kael was asked on a date to the play when it was on. Artemis discovered she was half-elf and half-shoanti, furthermore she was the granddaughter of Thousand Bones himself!

And that's the story so far...

DM_aka_Dudemeister's players helped a fugitive escape an unjust law, were cast in their parts for the Most Dangerous Play in the History of Golarion and broke a leg (not their own).

Warning spoilers ahead for The Sixfold Trial from Council of Thieves

Spoiler:

Interested in some strange coincidences during the foiled execution of Trinia, the party headed to Vencarlo Orisini's academy. The duelist invited the characters to the back room and swore them to secrecy about the presence of the fugitive Trinia. While the paladin was unhappy with the prospect of helping the girl escape the city, the party convinced him it was the right thing to do. They turned the girl invisible and had the Marine fly her out of the city on the back of his Hippogryph.
After which Xipi (the bard) and Prask (the rogue) recruited the other Proclaimers of Eel's End to try out for roles in the new performance of The Six Trials of Larazod. What ensued was a trying series of auditions, practices and ego contests. (A major image of a movie style trailer was awesome, when the party went for a cast and crew lunch).

Next week... The Six Trials of Larazod...

Warning Spoilers Continue from Council of Thieves: The Sixfold Trial

Spoiler:

The party did last minute preparations for the play, and the Paladin received a front-row seat ticket to the performance.
The Six Trials of Larazod opened (The player playing Larazod LEARNED HIS LINES) the party used their time back-stage between each act to mitigate the dangers ahead. At one point replacing horrible flesh-maggots with a major illusion of horrible flesh-maggots. They performed more than admirably (especially a couple of my shyer players who hammed it up more than I expected them to. It was so grand). The Paladin helped from the crowd, throwing anything he could find (rotten tomatoes, his longsword, a pair of manacles, using up every smite he could), at the summoned Lemures and horrible Troll Skeletons. The party also rolled very respectably on their Perform Acting Checks.

During the climactic battle with the Troll Skeleton "Legions of the Damned", Prask the Rogue raised his Death Flag for extra Harrow Points, using them for extra turns, raised attack bonuses and bonus sneak attack die (I'm very generous with my players). Unfortunately the Skeletons were ordered to attack Larazod (and only Larazod) and unfortunately he was slain in a savage mix of claws, and skeletal fangs. With his dying breaths he finished the last lines of the play, drew his bow and shot at the prospective new Seneschal of Korvosa. Striking the man in his eye and killing him.

The play finished and Grogan the Dwarf Paladin of Iomedae rushed onto the stage to charge Vestus (Arch-Chancellor of Asmodeus with murder), Vestus produced a writ of immunity for any deaths caused as a product of the play, written by the queen herself. Grogan was not amused. The party have made a powerful new enemy this day.

Finally Xipi spoiled the show as the Erinyes, her sultry performance (enhanced by her history as an "exotic dancer") truly wowed the crowd. Xipi Tinytoes, Gnome Bard is definitely climbing the social ladder quickly.
