International shipments of more than one item

Hi Customer Service.

First, if this has already been answered elsewhere, I apologize, but couldn't find it at the moment.

If I order, say, four books at the same time, will they be shipped as one package or as four packages?

The reason I ask is that I live in a country with some rather harsh toll fees (per package), and if they were to be sent in four packages, I'd have to sell a kidney or something like that.

Hope you can provide an answer.

Regards,
Bruno

If the actual shipping cost (not including your countries fees) would be cheaper as more than one package, then the code automatically splits them up to save you on shipping (international shipping is based on wieght, I beleive anything over 4 pounds is cheaper to split than to ship alone due to increased shipping fees.

To determine if a particular order is going to require shipping in multiple packages, just add the items to your cart, proceed to checkout and select the shipping address.

On the order confirmation page -- before your order has been actually placed, so you have a chance to not place the order -- you'll get a handful of shipping methods in a drop-down menu, explaining the delivery service and price. If the order is going to ship in multiple packages for a particular delivery service, it'll say something like "2 packages via Standard Postal Delivery".
