Hey guys, I thought I remembered seeing a feat that gave +30'( or +60' can't remember which ) range to a races darkvision. Was I imagining this or does it actually exist somewhere? As it isn't in the bestiary, I am guessing that it isn't Core.

Green Ronin book. Either Races of Renown : Plot and Poison (Drow Book), or the Race Codex : Drow.

The feat in question is Improved Darkvision. It doubles your existing darkvision range.

Green Ronin is pretty good, most GMs I've talked to usually are good with GR stuff.

But yeah, WoTC really neglected sense feats. You'd think at least Drow of the Underdark would have had something. But nope. Hopefully Paizo will have a better spread of useful utility feats instead of concentrating on 'How can we make people even more uber over powered' which was what WoTC seemed to be doing towards the end of 3.5.

Yeah. Here's hoping there is a feat in the dwarven companion book that adds range to darkvision. Doubling might be a bit much, but even a 30' boost would be reasonable for a feat. And then i can take it for a half-orc character I am contemplating. I think it would be fitting to take something from the dwarf book to make a half-orc better :)

I've ruled that Goggles of Night stack with regular darkvision, so if you've got characters who already got darkvision, they could have their darkvision extended this way.

At second level the Shadowdancer prestige class gives the extraordinary ability of Darkvision 60 ft, or +30 ft to any pre-existing Darkvision. (PFRPG Core Rulebook, page 392.)
