Tracking down Burnt offerings + living in Australia = Aaargh!

Hi all. I have a thing for hard copys, especially when a product is rather nice and i'm actually running a game from it. So i've been actively hunting for a hard copy of Burnt Offerings, scouring the amazons and the ebays. While most of the prices have been exhorbitant, the odd occasion where I found a copy for a good price, shipping has been unavailable to my poor little corner of the world (Australia). Most volumes of Pathfinder retail for about $45 Australiam in gaming stores here (US 35-40), although i've found the rest of the AP on special, so I can get them from there. So its just Burnt Offerings i'm lacking. All in all its a frustrating situation. If anyone happens to see a copy online in some obscure webstore, or heck, even has a copy that theyre finished with, please let me know!:)

Its actually really hard to find a copy of Burnt Offerings at all, even here in the U-S of A. Shipping to australia too... Aw man. Your mark up is going to be incredible!

But if you want a hint... see if the US army has any extras...

Lantern Lodge

call me a simpleton, but how exactly would I find out if the US army had any extras:P *is clueless*. Thanks very much for your reply though:)

Well, there were quite a few copies of Burnt Offerings bundled with player's guides that were sent out to our armed forces as gaming gifts. Many are immediately reshipped here to the US via E-Bay, but you might be able to find one closer to you as our boys are deployed all over the eastern hemisphere :P...

The reason I suggested it: you might be able to save on shipping. The rates to ship to Australia make it very hard sell single items like that, and I know for a fact that there should be copies of Burnt Offerings closer than the US. I am trying to find where I got my copy, but that was over six months ago.

Edit:
The only one I could find on Ebay

Alas, I did go there, as that was where I got the other issues on special. They had all of them except Burnt Offerings *cries*.

Many thanks for your reply though:)

Ack! I'm finding them for as high as $180 American!

I found that one as well, but won't offer international shipping at all:(. That seems to be the problem, whenever I find a copy below $50 they won't ship it:P

Do you know anyone stateside who could grab it for you and ship it themselves? It sounds like a middle-man is the solution there, even if it means you pay shipping twice (once domestic, once international).

Good news! I've put an order down for a second hand copy, supposedly in like new condition from an amazon seller. Payed a little more than is sensible (I got my PFRPG core rulebook for less), but at lease i'll likely get it before i'm due to kick off the campaign in a few weeks time:) Fingers crossed that it's in good condition:)
Many thanks and hugs for all the suggestions you all made for me:)

Ah, too bad I didn't read this earlier. My local store has a used game shelf with a copy of it there, at least they did the last time I looked. It's in pretty good condition, corners are a little worn and bent, and they are asking full price for it, but I would have been willing to work something out to get you it. I surely wouldn't have charged a high price for it, just the price they are asking, plus the tax and actual shipping. Oh well, looks like you've got one now.

Nonetheless, your offer was very kind and I am very grateful. Many thanks and regards
