When the Pathfinder Miniatures from Reaper start to become available, can we get a subscription for them?
Definitely not right away, but It's something we'll consider down the road.
Personally, I'm unconvinced it's a wise idea. There are a bunch of issues here, among them:
- Reaper will be reissuing Crocodile minis along with their own new figures for a while, and subscribers would probably be split on whether or not they should be included. (And offering multiple options is confusing... especially since one of the options will become less and less important over time as the old catalog is converted.)
- Because we're just the licensor and not the manufacturer, it's not a particularly high-profit-margin item for us, so we can't offer much of a discount beyond the standard 10% (or the 15% Pathfinder Advantage discount for AP subscribers). (And clearly, we can't just throw in a free PDF!) Thus, the primary benefit of such a subscription to our customers would have to be convenience, not cost.
- While folks might only want one Valeros mini, they might want several goblins. And if the primary value of a sub is convenience, having to specify how many of each you want—or having to come to the site and order extras—kind of negates that convenience.
- Most of our current subscriptions can be shipped fairly inexpensively because they're primarily Bound Printed Matter. Subscribers who are trying to save money by combining subscriptions may find that adding a bunch of minis to a set of books could make the shipping on their subs go up dramatically.
- We'd like to see that Reaper is doing well with the line, both financially and with respect to meeting schedules before we encourage our customers to make long-term commitments. After all, if we'd offered subscriptions to the minis under the previous manufacturer, we'd have had a lot of unhappy subscribers, and even more queries about delays for which we had no good answer.

Vic- My wife says thank you. She is excited to have some of the minis, but she isn't crazy about the having ALL of the minis ( due to $ )

Thanks for the reply Vic, I appreciate it!
Convenience was what I was after. The second reason, and I wonder if I'm in the minority here, is that I can tell my wife that my paizo subscriptions will cost me about $X next month. She doesn't really care what's in them. If I order things from Paizo outside of my subscriptions, I get questioned. :)
What I guess I could do (and have done)for my particular situation is to buy the miniatures and have them ship with my next subscription shipment. (I won't be charged until then, right?)
Is there a best way to get miniature product updates? I would personally like to be informed every time new Pathfinder miniatures are available in the Paizo store so I can jump on them.
Thanks again!

You will have to wait until they're in stock to order them, because you can't currently combine non-paizo preorders with subscriptions, but yes, you could do that. And we don't charge for any products until we ship.

You could subscribe to the RSS feeds for Reaper's Pathfinder Minis section of the store—New and Upcoming. (Note that "New" doesn't list products that were previously solicited as Crocodile products, and we have to be given specific release dates before things appear in "Upcoming.")
We'll almost certainly be covering their releases in our store blogs and weekly emails, too.

This is no longer correct—you can now combine non-paizo preorders with future subscription shipments. If you have eligible shipments, you'll be asked during the checkout process whether you want to do that.

I have to agree. I own a bunch of crocidile minis, and frankly I cant see a subscription to miniature line as a good thing. There are some I want multiples of, some I may not want at all or use.

Agree as well... I'll pick up one of each iconic, after that, I have plenty of humanoids.. I want creatures that arn't elves/dwarves/humans (Gnomes are ok, because Golarion gnomes don't fit with any minis I have other then those little pencil-top trolls with orange hair that were all the rage in middle school)
