Gday All,
I had a bit of a question, well a number of questions. One of my regular gaming groups is about to change over to Pathfinder but a number of the players have been keen to do the "Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk".
So my questions as the GM were;
1) Where in Golarion would you set it?
2) Would you make any changes to the major NPCs (apart from converting them to Pathfinder)?
3) What Gods would you substitute for the Greyhawk gods?
4) Other suggestions gleefully accepted.
Many thanks in advance.
Tony.

1.) What about setting it on the Isle of Kortos with Castle Greyhawk being one of the largest of the seige castles? Is the castle too large for that role?
2.)
3.)

Any thought on keeping it in Greyhawk but running it with the Pathfinder rules?

My thoughts exactly.

leave it greyhawk and use the pathfinder rules, unless your table just wants to have it in golarion.
if that is the case use the gods mentioned above in repalcement of the greyhawk list.
and do the location that was stated.
or you could just say its a abandoned siege castle out in the ocean on an uncharted and long forgotten island too.

A very good idea, and fits quite nicely (esp. 'Tower of War' with its war engines and whatnot). I also see Lastwall or Ustalav as potential locations, although in the latter case I'd probably play up the gothic features of the place.
3.)
Zuoken becomes Irori.
Boccob becomes Nethys
Iomedae for Saint Cuthbert?
A substitute for Iuz maybe more difficult. He has to be fairly minor but Thamir doesn't seem right. Orcus?
I would likely use Zon-Kuthon to replace Iuz; it's not a perfect match, but better than Orcus, in my opinion. Sarenrae might also be a good fit for St. Cuthbert, as her faith preaches swift justice to evildoers.

I myself change everything out of greyhawk as I really dislike greyhawk. yOU Can place it in any area you like. I have a listed I used to convert gods I'll see if I can hunt it up
Sorry guys I have been a bit busy of late.
If you wouldn't mind doing that seekerofshadowlight that would be downright fantastic. I'm still getting my head around the setting whilst studying and working with exams around the corner so I don't have as much time to do the reading that I would like to do.
