PFRPG for Escape from Old Korvosa [SPOILER]

So I've been converting to PFRPG (First beta, now final) ever since we started this on and off campaign 6 months ago. We're getting close to the point where the PCs go into the Arkona palace. In this AP Paizo formed the encounters with the idea that the Rakshasas are CR 8 not CR 10. Now the question is should I simply "Pathfinderize" the old Rakshasas with the idea of a CR 8 or maybe go with the PFRPG final version of the CR 10?

The key here is that I'm running it as a two person gestalt campaign. They are approximately on level, but I tend to make things harder than normal anyways... so I tend to increase HP by about 10-25%.

I'm leaning more towards keeping the Rakshasa as it is in the AP... just want some opinions.

I'd probably leave it as is with only two people in your campaign (even gestalted) Rakshasas are a tough brand of fiend to deal with.

Yeah, the issue with the Arkona's is whether the players have a chance to retreat and regroup. If so, they'll research the race and find out about the DR and what is needed to hurt them. And then the NPCs will go down quickly.
