Okay, so just prior to the death of Living Greyhawk/D&D, I had created a character that used a mancatcher to great effect, and, more importantly, he was super fun to play.
So now my group is looking at getting back into a Living-style campaign with Pathfinder and the PFS. My question: is there such a weapon as the mancatcher in Pathfinder, and if so, is it legal in PFS? Because I will happily head right over to the store here and buy a copy of that supplement this instant if it is.
I tried looking around to see if I could find a reference to one, but, frankly, the Paizo website is an excruciating chore to try and navigate through, so if I missed it somewhere obvious, my apologies in advance.
Thanks!
Steve M

Steve, no such weapon is available in Pathfinder Society.
Yet.
The Bestiary is due for release very soon and there's a slim chance that something like Kuo-toa might be included. The man-catcher weapon would have to be specifically allowed into the campaign from a source like the Bestiary or some future expansion book. Paizo has already released their Darklands (Underdark) guide and if memory serves me Kuo-toa were not detailed or even mentioned. I would not get your hopes up if I were you. Best you could do would be a net. (A tiny net is a death sentence)
