What use is the Evil Aura from Fey sorcerer bloodline power, Corrupting Touch??

Rules Questions

With this power, anyone they touch also receives an evil aura. How is this useful in terms of game mechanics?

Does it mean a paladin can smite that target?
Does it mean someone with a good weapon can bypass that target's DR?
Does someone with Protection from Evil gain the spell's benefits when attacked by the target?

I would be very shocked if the answer was yes to any of the above since the target is not inherently evil.

I assume you mean the infernal bloodline?

It would mean that most divination spells looking for evil would turn up the subject. It is a very situational effect since it only lasts a few rounds, but in theory you could make the over zealous paladin think someone is evil when they are not for instance.
It isnt a big effect but the main one is the fact that they are shaken, not the aura.
