Just wanted to appologize for yet ANOTHER delay. The flash drive I was working on the details out of was in my coat that was in my car my... 'dad' for lack of a better word, borrowed yesterday.
I'm hustling to get this all polished today so you guys can see the final product.
Also, just to ask, exactly what are you guys availabilities? Either state your timezone or convert the times your available into Pacific Standard Time alright.

Ah, timezones. This semester is winding down, and enlistment has just started for next semester. Schedule will be fluid until the next semester actually starts. Anyway. I'm most definitely not around about 9am-3pm PST, on account of being...asleep. I run on Philippine time, which is..+15 hours PST. It's already Wednesday here! Beyond that, I go online often enough. Just have to start abusing my free internet use card.

Kryt-Ryder,
I am in your neck of the woods (live in Bellevue) and would be VERY interested in playing in your sandbox campaign. if you have room, please let me know or give me a call.
four 25-five one six 1328
Hope to hear from you.
I love playing the elven ranger who has been wronged or shamed into a life of wandering the world until his personal code determines he has redeamed himself. he tends to be somewhat bi-polar individual who bounces between glaring at the shopkeeper that overcharged to playing guirilla in the mountains around a citadel.
kindest regards.

Hey medic. This thread has actually become a play by post (including 2 players in europe lol) however, there's another thread with three members so far gathering in our area. There's no specific game planned, but I may end up running the same type of game there if I ended up GMing.
If your interested in Play By Post, I've got no real problems with you joining this one, but I have to warn you there are alot of people and if your slow people are welcome to abandon your butt lol. Here's the list of planned classes.
Sorcerer
Wizard
Fighter
Monk
Cleric
Druid
Ranger
I believe (and hope lol, it would suck to forget your own players) that's all of them.

i live south of london!
i work long hours but have feedom to stop and post during the day, but struggle on weekends due to family commitmnets
ps i will play a high elf evoker and try to abuse the gms rule about double evoc damage!!!!
seriously though, mmy preferred race is elf, my preferred class is wizard and my preffered spell type is evoc so obvioulsy i like rules where evoc do more damage and con is less important!
i have never played a specialist wizard before but will now, because there is no good reason (in my humble opinion!) to play a universalist wizard in pathfinder core

Sorry! Thought I'd said, a week aswell, I'm back as of the 1st Nov, and ready to go starting monday!
I'm all statted up, so really I'm good to go. With my half-orc companion Gorgrom, we can work out a more in depth dynamic over the next few days or in game if you'd like!
Lol, you've specified how long now.
And feel free to work it out however deep you guys wish, your characters, your choices, your game :)

Sounds good to me. Gorgrom was tired of being in the forest alone and set out to further his training and find companions, because he knew he would never be able to destroy the tyrant and free his people all by himself.

And Aydan is driven, and values your strength and skill at his side as he plans to not just destroy the tyrant, but eclipse, and obliterate him.

*Puts on gruff military commander cap.* Alright you rotten good fer nuthin sons of *itches (Feel free to use your imagination here, Witches, Liches, whatever comes to mind),now that everything's ready I want to know who is set to play that's available, the rest can join up when they get back.
You ever get that cleric ready Maxipad? I'm still waiting boy.
And Gelgrom, if your available you can be out on a scouting or recon mission or whatnot, you don't need your little pillow-friend EVERY night do you?
*Takes off that cap*
Ok guys, enough of the hardass ritteric lol. Just let me know who's ready and we can start the party :)

Lol, don't stress over it, I know you weren't trying to rush me.
Just curious, what did you choose for your first favored enemy? (You probably told me before, but eh, I wasn't paying enough attention lol)

Dragons of course ;)

Ah. Well, I would say I'm ready, but it's a sunday morning here. Will be available by 10pm pst.
That should work out pretty well. I'll give until maybe 8 or 9 before starting Gelrom and you can have fun figuring out how and why your wherever he is lol.
(Or, truth be told, I could run the two of you separately, pretty easily too. Easier than running a Saga for a whole site lol)
kyrt-ryder
Hey Gorgrom, great news, it's up!!!! CHECK IT OUT!
Also, feel free to only make one post tonight if you wish, just make it a good one, be immersive, get into the story, have fun with it.
If you don't feel your up to hugely detailing the scene give me a decent start and I'll flesh it out for you after your post my friend.
(Also, if it turns out you don't have enough time to get it up tonight, or you're running on ZERO inspiration, throw us a post here to let us know so somebody else gets to go first alright bud.)
kyrt-ryder
Ah, sorry, was watching Doubt the movie. Gah, it leaves me hanging. Anyway, I'll start making a post. And unless Gorgrom makes a post before I'm done, I'll be somewhere separate... but hopefully close.
Yeah, he hasn't posted here or there, so I'm guessing that I was too slow for him, go ahead and go with whatever strikes you. Be near or far, its not a big deal, we've got a weak before the others show up. (and all in all it's easiest to handle you guys when we don't have to wait for several of you to post lol)

Sorry for lagging behind. International Book Fair is starting tomorrow and seven or eight of my translations are gonna be published. My time-table just went ballistic.
No worries, just post your entry when your able, your choice of actions and location etc is pretty free-form, so you can just do whatever you do, whenever you do it, wherever you do it at. No stress at all, you'll end up with the party (if the party's even formed by then) whenever the right time pops up

Things are starting to get pretty interesting Nightflier, feel free to pop in any time, anywhere, and we'll see how you add to the story.

Sorry, Kyrt. I'll have to bow out of this one. RL has completely destroyed my available time. For the next week or so I will be unable to commit to new game. If you can incorporate my character in your campaign later in the game, it would be great. If not, I am very sorry because I missed the opportunity to be part of what it seems to be great pbp.

No sweat man, your free to join any time. Besides, half our players are out of it for this week anyway, and I don't run on XP so all your missing out on is roleplay (which, admittedly, is most of the fun, but it doesn't put you behind. People level when the time is right, based on their fights, they're rp, etc. And if somebody joins after leveling has been done, they join at the party level)
kyrt-ryder
Alright, time to check in on all my would be players. Lets see....
Gorgrom and Baldoin are in play.
Loren Silverleaf/Raven34 and Vagrant Poet/ Aydan Mishnok are temporarily away.
Nightflier (Tiefling Fighter) has been overwelmed in person.
Max Hellspont (Cleric) has dissappeared.
Jared Ouimette (Druid)
So... Max, Jared... you guys still out there?
Also, feel free to comment on your experiences so far Gorgrom and Baldoin, if you wish to.
kyrt-ryder
Yep, still here, going to be late in coming, work sucks right now, but I'll get my write up to you soon.
It's fine bud, no big deal, thanks for giving me the heads up.
If you want help with feat selection let me know.
OH! RIGHT!
There was a 1st level druid spell I came up with that you should know, depending on which type of druid you want to play it might come in handy at some point.
Force Wildshape:
Level-1
School-Transmutation
Range-Personal
Casting Time- Standard (see text)
Duration-Instantaneous
Components: Verbal Only
Effect: when a druid casts this spell, they are able to wildshape, according to the abilities they have unlocked this far (Meaning this spell grants no benefit to a first level druid). Doing so takes a standard action and does not consume a use of wildshape.
Special: By consuming a use of wildshape in the casting, the druid can instead cast this spell (and wildshape) as a swift action.

So... Max, Jared... you guys still out there?Quote:Ooh! Sincerest apologies! I went from a hell week at work to a week with 3 sick kids at home (thankfully not the flu! *knock on wood*), and by then just assumed from the number of posts that the party was full up! I will get a cleric up today, if you will still have me.
Again, sincerest apologies, and much thanks for your patience!

Of course we'll still have you Max.
And this circus hasn't really turned into a party yet, right now there are two individuals adventuring (or just roleplaying, if you prefer, it's an interesting dynamic right now) separately, and at some point they will likely come together as a party with however many of the rest of you are ready.
Friar Feres
FINALLY! Friar Feres is reporting for inspection. Please let me know if anything needs to be modified.
I still need to finish his background. Currently, I envision that he has been in the village of Trask for the past couple of weeks, ministering to the infirm and trying to raise folks' spirits. He is feeling the call of the road again, and is on his way to say goodbye to Norrin and Willow before he heads out of town.

Looks pretty good, but I do have one suggestion.
That suggestion, would be to swap the strength with dexterity, and drop two weapon fighting for another feat of your choice
The reason being, you really don't have the dex to support taking weapon finesse bla blah.
Also, if you want to make two attacks in a turn, you are able to do so with a swift action.
You take a -3 penalty on the second attack roll, but no penalty on the first, so it works well for those who can't afford the feat
(Your choice of course my friend, just offering friendly GM advice.)
