Liberty's Edge

Its kind of vague in the text. Does the arcane archer need to know what square an enemy is in or can he simply be aware of the target's presence and know that the target is within his max range to attack with seeker arrow?

This is the difference from a visual perception check and an auditory (Or olfactory... ick) perception check.

At 4th level, an arcane archer can launch an arrow at a target known to him within range, and the arrow travels to the target, even around corners.

I would say he only has to know that the target is somewhere in range, not exactly on which square, because the rules do not say anything about what the character has to know exactly about his target.

He obviously doesn't have to see the target.

Hope that helps
