I noticed there are no "Dots" indicating which posts I have responded to in the archived posts, specifically the Rules forum. Is this normal?
I know dots are limited to threads in which you've posted within the most recent hundred posts and threads in which you've posted in the past two weeks. I don't know if Gary has specifically disabled them in the archive, but since most threads in the archive will probably hit one of the other two restrictions anyway, it wouldn't completely surprise me if they are specifically disabled there.

Really? Huh. I'm seeing a dot next to the thread "Alkenstar", and I haven't posted in it in 124 days. And I'm pretty sure I've posted more than 100 times since then. Weird.

My wording was non-optimal. As I understand it:
- If you have one of the 100 latest posts in a given thread, you get a dot.
- If you've posted to the thread in the last two weeks, you get a dot—even if there have been more than 100 posts in the thread since yours.
And now that I think about it, it does seem likely that Gary specifically disabled dots in the archives.
Ah, now I understand.
