Oriental region in Golarion?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

So we have an Arabian (Qadira) and an Egyptian (Osirion) setting, any chance we'll see an Oriental setting in Pathfinder?

Yep, probably in 3 or so APs.

The setting exists (Tianxia), it just hasn't been developed yet. I, for one, am eagerly awaiting its arrival.

Asia is represented by two continents on Golarion: Casmaron (closer to the inner sea) and Tian Xia (further away).

Casmaron is things like Arabia or India, while Tian Xia is China or Japan.

Ah. I had always though Tian Xia was on Casmaron...didn't realize it was its own continent. Thanks for that bit of info.

Ok, cool. I can't wait till that's established also. Those are the areas I think deserve second-best treatment and expansion.

Let's not neglect Arcadia, though. I've never seen a "fantasy North America analogue" that really appealed to me, it'd be nice to see one done well.

They're all the same supercontinent, like how Asia and Europe are smushed in together. Avistan, Casmaron, and Tian Xia are all one landmass.

No, Tian Xia is its own penisular extension down from the Crown of the World by the Campaign setting I gathered, connected between Vudra by the great Minkai archipelago.

We haven't mapped out either Casmaron or Tian Xia yet, so it's unsure yet if they (and Avistan) are one huge supercontinent, or if Tian Xia is a more peninsula shaped thing. All FOUR (Casmaron, Tian Xia, Avastan, and Crown of the World) are certainly connected by land or ice in some way, though, and the route through the Crown between Avastan and Tian Xia is shorter than the route passing through Casmaron.

Damn, the PCCS really made me think it was seperate. I hope it is! Or I'll have to force a change to my current mental vision of the greater planet.

Y'know what would be awesome, and even maybe doable with today's technology? An online globe of Golarion, so undistorted distances could be seen...
