Now that we know the state of V's marriage...

...and for that matter, the love life of every Order member, I wonder what ever happened to Hilgya. Ever since OOTS #84, I've been expecting her to come back for revenge on Durkon. Maybe accompanied by Durkon Jr.

My guess is that we'll never see her again. She is marked off the list in the fiends' picture.

It didn't even occur to me that she might come back as part of the Linear Guild. I figured she was never really on their side, once she left them. Although who knows...?

I think that just means she is no longer a linear guild member.

Senor Blackwingo was hilarious !

My favorite line of the strip was "Oh, no, you would never ignore someone to whom you are bonded."

That bird's developed into quite an interesting character. I've never been so interested in a familiar in my life!

At least we now can be certain that V's Wisdom and Charisma scores were the dump stats for that character.

I'm sorry but a baker does not afford a wizard to deliver divorce papers especially with an instant summons attached. I would immediate suspect a plot by my "friends" down in the lower planes to separate me from my support network in an effort to further isolate me and make me more desperate in order to drive me to further evil.

Yeah, I thought that whole business of picking a fight with V just to deliver the summons made no sense. So did the bird, for that matter, although it restricted its comments to "That was weird."

Not even when married to a high level adventuring wizard? Most divorce lawyers will work on retainer until the divorce is over and the finances have been divided before presenting a bill. V's got money to thrown around on jars full of diamond dust while in town; the settlement is likely to net a nifty sum.

I'm not saying your scenario isn't valid; I'm just pointing out some likely points overlooked in it.
