I am just about to start running the Council of Thieves adventure path, one item I could not find (and I hope I am not just being blind) but what year (specific or general) does the Pathfinder campaign setting define as it's "Start".
This is intentional, that way if you run the various APs and you end up having one month last 3 years of in game time, you can just hand wave the date of the next one to be 'after the last adventurers finished' Generally, each adventure (unless stated otherwise) is set the corresponding month to the current one, this year plus 2700 years... by that standard today is 15 Rova, 4709 in Golarion... So Council of thieves would be set in the month Arodus of the year 4709.
Thank you for the reply. The reasoning is good. This gives me what I was after, which was a starting year to base the length of time that has passed since events and history given in the campaign.
