The 8th Dwarf |

I am creating a 1st level Cleric of Pharasma for our campaign and I am looking for some ideas for my character.
We are using the Pathfinder RPG Rule-set Our GM has been generous and allowed us to use the Epic point buy and to select 2 traits.
We are also using the Spell Weaver magic system which is a skill based magic system.
Clerics have a similar restriction to wizards in knowing spells ( our GM sees Cleric spells as prayers and ceremonies and you have to know them to cast them) so I need to choose which prayers (spells) I start with.
I have established my characters background and history first and now I want to build the character to the background.
Ariadnae Sabine Lucana Merivanchi ( we chose the Merivanchi name as a tribute to our last D&D campaign (Savage Tide) – the Merivanchi’s were such a thorn in our plans we thought it would be cool if they were spread across multiple worlds.) is the daughter of a minor branch of a minor noble family.
Her mother died during a very difficult birth in which the midwife a cleric of Pharasma had to intercede.
Her father blaming her for the death of his beloved wife was happy to pack Ari off to the Cathedral in Korvosa as the midwife believed she was blessed by Pharasma.
Virtually disinherited by her immediate family she grew up in the temple and spends her free time with her cousins (two of the other PCs) also of the Merivanchi family who live in town, their brother-in-law a Paladin in service to Abadar, a dandy from an allied family and a rather reprehensible dwarven “Merchant/bodyguard/shifty character”.
Basically we are looking to expand our family’s power and prestige within the city. My characters motivation is to show her father up to make more of her self than he did.
We also have to hate a guy called Lamb (this seemed important) – he is responsible for the addiction and death of one of my cousins.
I am thinking of taking sacred conduit and birthmark for her traits. The birthmark will be a milky dead eye and a swirling grey blue pupil for the other (these don’t effect her sight).
I am not sure if I should have my profession as a midwife, mortician or exorcist – am leaning towards exorcist.
I am not sure how I should distribute my skills and feats and what cleric spells I should know. I am thinking Wis, Cha, Str as my prime stats.
After that I am not 100% sure where to go.

I believe the guy you are refering to is Gaedren Lamm.
First, what role do you want to fulfil in the group? Buffer, healer, off-tank, secondary fighter?
I liked your idea about being an exorcist of Pharasma, kind of the same plane as a crusader type in someways. You could look at a build that strengthens your will and makes you real nasty against demonic influences.
Can you post what your build idea so far?

I'm currently DM'ing this AP and I think your character should fit in nicely.
As for the build I think you'll have a blast as an exorscist type of character, but personally I would go for con instead of strength as my third stat (trust me when I say, you'll need a high fortitude save in this path).
For an excorcist cleric build I would go for feats which increased my chance to channel like selective channeling and turn undead, as well as feats which allowed me to resist the attacks from undead and fiends like great fortitude and iron will.
How many spell sar eyou allowed to pick for your cleric? 1st level spells that's been popular in my games are; Shield of faith, Bless, Divine favor and Cause fear. But if you're not allowed to spontaneously convert i would seriously invest in some curing spells and maybe some inflict spells as well.
And remember, you should really hate Gaedren Lamm and Love the city of Korvosa, this will enhance your gaming experience.
