I've got about a hundred proof-of-purchases from Reaper miniatures and paint triads. I'm never going to trade them in for anything. If you'd want to use them for something, they're yours. Just leave an email address I can get in contact with you at, and the next time I hit the post office I'll send them.

Don't worry. Between the Dark Heaven and Pathfinder lines, the fact that painting minis is the most Zen-like form of stress relief I've ever found, and the beginning of a school year that promises to be nightmarish in ways Dante wouldn't have wanted to dream about, I'm sure I'll have a decent size pile again by the time the end of July rolls around. I'll find a way to track you down then.

What do you do with those proofs, anyway?

I've got a pile, too, but I've not seen any clues on their website how to trade them in (though I admit I haven't been on for a while).

I have about 80 of these right now. I'll make a deal with you. I'll send you these proofs, and in return, upon receipt, you send me something cool. Deal? :)

Actually, I have plenty o' miniatures as it is, including about 200 assembled on my desk awaiting paint and probably 100 in my desk drawers awaiting unboxing. Plus, I can mooch freebies off the Reaper guys any time I see them at a con, I don't need any other freebies.

In other words, I'm just jokin' around that I "missed out" on yet more pewter potential. :)

Now you made me feel a bit better about me having over a thousand minis awaiting painting and assembling...

(I hope the wife doesn't see this post O.o)

Old mini-painter adage: when you paint your last mini, you die, so it's in your best interest to keep acquiring more minis. ;)

My daughter was wittering when I was down the model shop, and really really wanted some pretty flourescent paints she saw.

Well, to keep her from acting up, and buy time to chat to the store guy, I got her three pots, got home, put up an easel, and we spent an afternoon painting pretty flowers.
I can't believe I used Vallejo colors to paint pictures of flowers with a half-inch brush.
Oh, the sacriledge!

Oh, very nice.

Time to dig them up. I'm assuming they don't have an expiry date.
