Hi Paizo. I noticed that one of the traits listed in your Character Traits PDF available via free download is Adopted and it's for adventurers who were adopted by other races. Could you release as a preview the traits for the Dwarves? I've got a Aasimar paladin who was adopted and raised by two dwarf parents but I can't seem to give him any dwarf character traits for the Adopted character trait. (sorrow)

The contents of the Dwarf book aren't ready for public viewing yet, but hopefully once we're closer to it being a done book we'll be able to post some previews. We probalby WON'T preview traits, though, since we generally don't use the blog to preview actual rules content.

Awwww....pretty please with a goblin on top? If not, is it possible for you to add some racial traits to the free character traits PDF? Cause right now, the adopted trait only has functionality with elves (and that's just racist)...<_<...>_>...^_^

Actually, there are racial traits in ALL of the Companion books, save for Osirion. They're not called out as such necessarily on their own pages is the only thing.

]Chelaxian dwarves rock *BESTEST*! ;P [/QUOTE wrote:As long as they aren't traitorous devil worshipers like the Duergar then HELLS YES (god I'm on a roll with puns). ^_~
Er, "traitorous devil worshipers"... I'm a CHELAXIAN dwarf, and a WILLING servant of His Sulphurous Majesty, Almighty Asmodeus! If I were "traitorous", that would imply plotting rebellion (ugh!), secretly submitting my (formidable) will to one of the lesser deities or even conspiring with the Taldorian dandies or Qadiran weaklings (I'd rather DIE)! ;P

Then you practically have free reign to make some up!
Dwarf
Alehouse Stamina – +2 to Fortitude saves vs. the effects of intoxication and to checks to resist the effects of a Forced March or other exertion.
Gustatory Adventurer – +2 to Fortitude saves vs. ingested poisons, or any diseases that are contracted from tainted or corrupted food or drink.
Impressive Beard – +2 to Diplomacy attempts against other Dwarves (or cultures who respect a magnificent beard, such as Qadirans), +2 to Sleight of Hand checks to conceal one size Tiny item within your magnificently coiffed beard.
Tell it to my Axe - You ignore the penalties from the Shaken Condition, but only if a melee weapon is in hand. (A melee weapon that can be used at range, such as a dagger or a throwing axe, counts for this purpose.) Other fear effects affect you normally, with one exception; when Panicked, you do *not* drop your melee weapon(s)!

Set, you and I seem to have a good enough handle on the mechanics on certain things that we have no problem making stuff up as we go along! :P

I tend not to take requests from guys who dress up in Jester outfits.
So you have a problem with jokaers? Jesters? Clowns? Could it be because they scare you?
*produces huge scissors from behind back* what about some handicrafts? That will take your mind off things!
Come on. It will be fun. And after that, some snacks! I'm thinking Butterfingers!

Hee hee hee! I'm not watching television. I'm making television.
