Paizo Employee Director of Brand Strategy

I am having trouble with the internet. It's too big and I need some help wrangling the stuff I want. I have multiple email addresses, three twitter accounts, two live journal accounts, facebook, news feeds, messageboards, last.fm, and probably other stuff I can't think of at the moment. Is there a single program to manage all this stuff? As it is, I can't check all of it on anything resembling a regular schedule and I would like to be efficient about it. Anyone have any tips? For what it's worth, I am on OS X (Snow Leopard).

You should all be ashamed to call yourselves nerds, you know that?!

I'm a old nerd.
I'm no use to you.
I have 80 little boxes on my screensaver thingy.

You don't need a program to manage all that stuff, you just need to get rid of half of it. Cut down to one email addres (two if you have a pressing need to keep things separate for some reason), eliminate twitter (nothing of any substance happens there anyway), and limit yourself to one social networking site (I recommend Facebook because it seems to be what everyone else uses). And the Paizo forums, of course; they are fundamental.

I think you can set up a Bebo.com account and then configure it to pull feeds from many of your sites.

As for the mail, can you setup some of them to forward to a single main email address? Then configure your email client to filter incoming mail based on which email account forwarded it and sort it into different folders.

As CH said earlier, is there anything you can live without? If so, close it.

You should never read your email too. It's fun.

I tried that at work. It didn't go over well.

Talking about nerds, there is something i always wondered, not being completely familiar with that pop culture of yours :
What is the difference between a Nerd and a Geek ?
In my mind, i thought nerds were kind of crazy brainiacs, while geeks were more fanboys of comics, videogames or movies, like trekkies, and well, roleplayers...

72 virgins are only good the first 72 times. After that, they're nothing special.

My vote goes to 72 experienced sluts! Much more fun from the get go!

It beats being someone else's lap dog.
