Shield Slam and Improved Bull Rush

While redundant, I was wondering if the Improved Bull Rush +2 bonus applied while using the Shield Slam. My initial thought is yes, but some seem to have this in question.

Despite substituting your attack roll for the combat maneuver check, you are still making a Bull Rush attempt. I believe the +2 is applicable. 85.342% assurance.
