Note that creatures with Improved Grab now get a +4 bonus on grapple checks according to the Bonus Bestiary. So it's not quite as bad as the average wizard (although it's close).
Does this poor guy get screwed in PFRPG since he doesn't get any bonus for his strength OR dexterity? His primary means of attack is completely useless if someone tries to grapple him. Heck, I think the wizard in my party could take him.

I checked in the Curse of the Crimson Throne because there was a picture of one busting up through the street but there were no stats there. The whole busting up through the street thing is questionable given that the otyugh has a Strength of 11 and a Dexterity of 10. Not exactly Hulk-like stats for that sort of move, IMO.

No kidding. For a lame pile o'poop I sure seem to fit one into every campaign I ever run. They're just so perfect. Grappling poop. What could be better?
