Since the Acadamae just sits there and taunts my PCs, I was wondering about prestige classes for the Acadamae. In another thread I had thought about allowing Varisians (who have magical tatoos) to become Red Wizards. What kinds of Prestige Classes would the Acadamae likely produce. I don't want to give my players too many options, but leave enough options to make it a viable path for their characters in the future.
Any opinions?

I'm holding off on this in any formal fashion until after the core rules come out.
However, in 3.5 terms ...
- Master of the Unseen Hand
- Master Specialist
- Seven Veils (I don't remember the full name)
- Force Missile Mage (Dragon Compendium)
- Alienist
- Blood Magus
- Archmage
... all come readily to mind for the Korvosa Acadamae.

- Guild Mage (sort of jumps to mind)
I would be queasy about red Wizards as those, IMHO, were originally be more of an NPC PrC and were (in the FR-Setting from which they come) heavily balanced by roleplaying checks and socio-historic problems.
I had a couple of other considerations to work with them as well. They could only be Varisian natives and they had to follow ancient Thassilon traditions. It would only be a small subset of the Acadamae that would train them.
The Red Wizard PrC got little love in the Forgotten Realms. It should've been a great PC PrC but was relegated to bad-guys due to those same RP issues. With the tweaks i've got I feel that the PrC really fits the game I'm running.
