What happens to a Desnan's soul when they die?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

If the normal progression of a soul when it dies is from the material plane to the astral plane, then to their appointed plane of existence, what happens to the Souls of worshipers of The Great Dreamer, if the God's realm is back on the material plane? Do they have to make the return journey, or do they just go to Elysium? If they do go back to Desna's realm, how do outsiders react with being in a divine realm on the material plane?

Oddly enough, this actually came up in a game.

Maybe they'll forever travel the spheres.

Of course, they'll have to go before Pharasma before they go anywhere else.

Well, according to The Great Beyond, Desna does have a small realm in Elysium, but her main realm is on the Material... so maybe there's a giant gate that connects the two. "Welcome to orientation to the afterlife, you'll be spending the rest of your eternity, though, amongst the goddess's stars back on the Prime. When you've completed your century-long orientation process, please exit through the giant door to your left."
