So my brave PCs have done cleaning the monastery and they did it quite well, except for one little faliure: they have allowed King Mokknok to escape and lost his trail. no two days have past since than and they are already nosing around the edges of Kalmarane. I am looking for the best way to use king Mokknok against them, something nesty and evil that he will cause to teach them Pugwampis should be feared.
anyhow, I thought that maybe he will elart the gnolls of Kelmarane to the presence of the PCs, or maybe hell just stick around the monastery doing harm (I thought of having him murdering the old camal caretakers/cooks, but that just seemed sadistic).

How about he steals some large watermelon sized eggs and plants them in a PC's backpack? When a certain vulture arrives, he casts shatter on the egg and let the smell attract the mother?
