Hi I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me what the standard issue arems and armour for A korvosan guard are. Thanks in advance
There is a picture in the Guide to Korvosa, but no write up of the Guards' gear. However, in the first adventure, we run into a few low level guards and they have the following: chainmail, heavy steel shield, longsword, light crossbow with 10 bolts
There is another mentioned that would be slightly higher in the ranks, but because of background info, it is unclear if his better gear is due to his rank or outside influences :)

I concur with Gamer Girl. There is an exception here and there but that is the basic gear of the basic run of the mill, "I was issued this," kind of guard.

Korvosans are practical and lawful above all, so I always imagined they'd be keen of subduing criminals and suspects to bring them to trial, rather than having the Guard kill them. Hence, I've been outfitting my city guardsmen with Saps as their primary weapons, with a light crossbow for backup. The shield and sword are basically their SWAT gear.

The Korvosan guard in PF13 is a level 3 fighter and has banded mail, a +1 heavy steel shield, a masterwork longsword, and a cloak of resistance +1. The text makes a point of stating that he's using the equipment issued to him, but I suppose that he may have supplemented it with the cloak on his own.
