So you already know the idea, but here's the premise and the automatically needed disclaimers. I'm doing at as an experiment on my free time, D&D tinkering Jones if you will. I do NOT hate 4e, this is NOT an edition war or any such. In fact I like 4e as a player, but the DM in me likes the excesses of 3.x. Now the idea behind this is to basically build the SoW campaign out of the ideas of the 4e version. Capture the cool fights and premises, but not a perfect conversion. For instance the opening scenes of Rescue at Rivenroar are awesome. The many random dungeon crawl fights not so much. So my idea si to take the good parts, and get rid of the stuff I don't find interesting. I guess I'm just collecting thoughts and sharing the ideas more than anything. I doubt I'll ever run this (I'm working on STAP and have Runelords on deck aswell as Legacy of Fire and on).

I know this thread is old, but did anyone every see anything about a conversion?
"Scale of War" is a 4E adventure path. I'd like to know if someone converted it to 3e or Pathfinder.
I have been Running this as pathfinder for almost 6 months now. We are about to start Den of the Destroyer and I'm just now starting to run into leveling issues with my conversion. All in all it hasn't been that bad really. I've changed a lot of stuff up and added some of my own side quests but very enjoyable so far. I will say its a lot of work, the conversions are difficult to pace right and I can only work about 2 modules ahead of the party in order to keep everything running smooth.
