It was just reported on the Australian Today morning show that NZ police have released a statement saying that Jeff Goldblum has died from a fall while filming in NZ.

I am waiting to hear more.

I've been a fan of Goldblum since his stint in "The Fly".

Well... according to this messageboard, this is a hoax and Jeff Goldblum is currently alive and filming a movie in New York.

So I guess we'll see.

Just an update on the Australian "The Morning SHow" stating that the NZ police can not confirm the statement and that Jeff's manager has released a statement denying the statement.

Seems like there is another rumour going around about the death of an actor as well.

Jeff Goldblum was one of the first major Hollywood stars to support my favorite comedy show, "Tim & Eric's Awesome Show, Great Job", and he's even appeared on the program a few times. I am hoping (and suspecting) this is a hoax.

Looks like a hoax, since there have been substitutions of Jeff Goldblum/Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford for the same story...

If it isnt Jeff Goldblum, then it may have been the Channel 9 reporter who was climbing a Glacier in New Zealand to do a weather report...has died. He went up on a chopper...it may have gone down.
