Rogue Trader (Warhammer 40k RPG)

Anyone up for a Rogue Trader RPG game? I picked up the freebee at FreeRPG Day today, and I like what I see.

I'm happy to run it for up to three people, running the included adventure, or I'd love to play if anyone else fancies running something?

I am interested. Waiting for the release on the FFG website of the quick start rules on Monday though.

EDIT: Starting characters in Rogue Trader appear to be tougher than those in Dark Heresy.

I'd be interested, too. I'll try and check the quickstarts when they get uploaded on Monday. There wasn't a store near me to participate in Free RPG Day, so I haven't seen the adventure from it, but I did look at the free characters FFG put up on the Rogue Trader site. I agree, they do look beefy, even compared to Dark Heresy characters.

The basic scenario is a salvage operation into a part of the Maw called "the battlefield".....

EDIT: looking at the RT site, the PDF has two extra characters, so we could go up to 5 players, if people fancy it.

At this point, I don't think you do :)

There are three characters in the booklet, the PDF of which will be released on Monday I think. There are another two characters on the website.

Ok, stuff is up Here.

Please don't read past the end of sec1:13 (page 13) or you'll get spoilers....

Any of the 5 characters are allowed, but one of you MUST be Sarvas Trask.

Up to 5 PCs allowed. I'm aiming to do this as a PbP on these boards (duh). It's short, but with plenty of scope for exposition, so should make for nice little summer diversion.

One note. I expect everyone to post once per weekday, even if it's just a check in on the discussion thread, I'll probably post a lot more than that. I'm on BST (GMT +1 at the moment).

So pick a character (there are still 3 free places I think??) and I'll kick off a game, and discussion thread in a couple of hours.

EDIT: I can't count, we have three players up to now, so two places left :)
