Hi guys.
Fantastic options with shipping - thanks!
I have sometime up my sleeves but I figure I would work things out now. I have my default shipping option set as once per month to save on shipping. July will work like that.
I want to change it in August so I can get the PFRPG sent straight away but leave my other subscription all together until towards the end of the month. I am hoping this is possible as it is set to be released before other paizo products?
I want to do this as well as adding another 3 PFRPG books to my subsciption. Is it possible to set this up now so that the order is in the system?
I am hoping to do this to save myself shipping and handling as I do not think I can get all my subscriptions plus 3 PFRPG books at the usual shipping price.

We currently expect everything listed on the product schedule for August to ship at the same time, in early August.
Since we're not expecting anything in mid- or late August, that means we'd process monthly shipments at the same time.
Essentially, what this means is that choosing "ship separately as things arrive," "hold for Pathfinder Adventure Path," or "hold for monthly shipment" are all going to have the same result in August (unless something gets delayed).

Thanks Vic.
Unfortunately that does not answer my question. It will probably cost around $127 to get all my subscriptions and 3 additional PFRPG books.
I wish to split my subscriptions up to save on shipping. I presume all my preorders plus 3 addition PFRPG books will be more than $57.
All subscriptions already auto split if it will save you money. now that you can add PFRPGS to ship with your subscriptions, I think it should split for you.

That's not *quite* true. Currently, we'll split shipments into multiple packages *using the same shipping method* if that saves your money, but the system is not yet intelligent enough to split a shipment into multiple packages using *different* shipping methods to save money. For example, if you have a Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook and some other stuff going internationally, the system isn't yet smart enough to know that even though the Core Rulebook has to go via International Priority, it should probably send the other stuff Standard to save money. I'm hopeful we can solve that before August, but I know the mere thought of this particular problem is enough to make Gary shiver.
In many cases, it won't matter, because those types of orders will already be going into a Priority Flat-Rate Box, and adding more stuff to that box doesn't raise the shipping cost—until stuff no longer fits in the box. When it no longer fits, though, it matters pretty significantly.
The best way to see the current situation, though, is to put whatever it is that you haven't already ordered in your cart, and you'll see your current options and best shipping estimate before you commit to it.

I have related concerns regarding the shipping cost of the Pathfinder RPG core rulebook. I mean the book is going to be hefty, right?
The problem in the UK when receiving packages from abroad is not really the custom duty, after all it is only fair to shell out for a tax businesses have to pay, but the criminal £8 "handling fee" from Royal Mail, just to tell me they are holding a package on their shelves "for my own good" on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs. The monthly shipments usually avoid it, I think they do not bother too much for light parcels worth less than $50. However with the PRPG brick added to the monthly shipment, and its price tag, this is going to hit if combined with other items.
Ideally, I think that the Pathfinder RPG rulebook should ship alone for international customers on subscription. In my case, this could get through without incurring customs duty.
Note that I am not asking Paizo to break the law by indicating a lower price content than it would be.
I must say I had been agonising for a while about getting the Pathfinder RPG locally, due to these shipping concerns, but the usual "Free PDF" offer did it.

Bear in mind that when importing books into the UK, they are duty free and have a zero VAT rate. You still have the shipping to contend with though. T-shirts, card games, etc. have different rates so you need to be a bit more careful.
I fully intend to get the RPG subscription, but I'm currently trying to work out if its more economical to start that with the Bestiary and buy the core book from Amazon UK (and a PDF from Paizo). It all depends on how much the PDF costs.

I've posted eleswhere, if you are buying the PDF from Paizo, as long as it's 30% off the book cost, it's cheaper to get the subscription.
If it ends up being more than 30% off, it's cheaper to go the Amazon route...

True, it is indeed duty and VAT free. I must have read long ago, back in the 90s (expensive DVDs in the UK, cheaper in the US) that customs had an official price limit on what to let through without tax in order not to stop everything, and that they applied an unofficial higher threshold more on the lines of "cannot bother". A Paizo shipment of mine was caught once, but it was not the priciest to get through.
As for the shipping cost, between Sterling being most of the time stronger than the $, it usually evens out.

It was on my mind too, then I am lazy.
And what about the pride and honour of having an insanely long tag in the forums?
I have noticed that you were a "Charter" subscriber too, surely you cannot afford the tarnishing of your tag by missing on the "Pathfinder Roleplaying Game" addition for any length of time, can you? :)

$8.50 (including the Pathfinder Advantage) is much better than 30% off; Amazon, here I come...
I may like having tags by my name, but my second child is due in August, so I have to economise where possible!

Indeed. Although I do feel kinda dirty for not buying it direct. I'm sire I'll get over that :)
