I was pre-ordering the core rule book.
However when I got to the checkout the shipping and handling was $45, more than the book itself - with the AP sub discount applied.
Since I live in New Zealand I am use to high shipping costs but this seemed a tad excessive.
Can you confirm if this is indeed the correct shipping rate?

The Core Rulebook weighs about 5 pounds, which leads to expensive international shipping, since it has to go Priority.
However, since it is shipping in a flat-rate box, you may find you can add multiple books to the order without increasing the shipping too much. So if you have a couple friends (such as your game group?), you can all pitch in and save some money that way. (I think three or four Core Books can fit in a flat-rate box.)
