Cant remember name of cartoon around late 70's to early 80's?
Here's what i remember: There was a cat in it. He had this peculiar talent that whenever he saw a mouse, his eyes would lock in, his tail would start sparking like a wick to dynamite, then he would shoot forward like he had jets on. Seems i remember a scene where he and others were in snow, cat saw a mouse, his tail would spark, then he shot towards the mouse...finding gold. Does any of this ring a bell?
Again, tail would spark from top to bottom or bottom to top, when when the whole tailed sparked, like that of a wick to dynamite, he would shoot forward at blinding speed.
Help?

This image rings a mental bell, but I'm not sure which show it might be. I have a weird sense that it might've been a supporting character, rather than a main one, maybe one of the umpteen extras in the old "Heathcliff" shorts (or the match-up, "Riff Raff & the Catillac Cats"). You can poke around at Retro Junk's Heathcliff site - they might know.
