Rise of the Runelords Timeline

Rise of the Runelords

Has anyone already completed a timeline of all the events (background stuff mostly) that take place in this AP? I am sure something like that is out there but am unable to find it.

I don't think there is one, really. Its clear from the module introductions and some comments here that a variable amount of time can pass inbetween mods, and even between some events in the mods. The most closely tied together are the first two, because of the one NPC that appears in both. That one, it actually requires you to separate the two out in time, so certain events can happen if your party does not take long enough finishing off the goblins. Other than that, considering there are several very long overland treks, and the possibility of post-mod work, the events are all variable and may be quite far apart. Hook Mountain Massacre and The Fortress of the Stone Giants, in particular, can be quite far apart in time, if you like, or not.

I have one specific to my campaign and PCs posted on googledocs. It's about 1 month in, and we're at the start of the Skinsaw Murders.

A timeline of events leading up to the modules would be useful.
My players spend quite a lot of time time working out what happened when to see what events are linked.

I'm slowly putting a timeline together so I make make sense out of NPC movements while they are "off stage", but some of it's pretty uphill work (see the "Nualia's personal timeline" single-post "thread" in this forum.) and I've had a lot of trouble sorting out the sequence and timing of various events in Magnimar involving Xanseha, Ironbriar, Nualia, Tsuto and Aldern Foxglove.

It really doesn't help that the module text, while not actually contradictory, is ambiguous to the point that it sometimes seems as if it is. For example, Malheshnekor is described on one page as having been imprisoned at Thistletop for "several centuries" before Lamashtu cultists moved into the complex above him; on another page it's noted that the Lamashtu cultists arrived "two hundred years ago." That means he was isolated for some 9800 years -- I'd call that many millenia -- "several centuries" sounds more like maybe 300-800 years.

We know Nualia was in a coma after her miscarriage. Did the coma last for days? weeks? months? Doesn't say.
