Nice to know, but I could have hung on until they were ready to give the fans something other than just the title.
As I recall, Garret's got an apprentice now. I wonder if that means the torch is being passed in this installment? It would be cool to have it set years in the future, with her as a grown, trained thief/Keeper. That said, I'd be just as happy continuing on with Garret, having him deal with whatever the new crisis of the city is while trying to keep his young apprentice in line. (Young apprentice...now I'm starting to sound like a Jedi.)

I truly hope they keep to the story's continuity and have Garret as the main character. I don't mind have an additional character in the apprentice (Thief multiplayer?), but Garret is the heart and soul of the franchise. Replacing him would move this game from the MUST HAVE ON RELEASE DAY list to BUY FROM THE DISCOUNT BIN (MAYBE) list.
That said, while I would like to see the series' other elements (Hammerites, Pagans, original Keeper order) maintained, I'd like to see them take more of a backstage presence and have some new factions/threats emerge as the primary antagonists.
