This might technically belong in rules but its not really a clarification about a rule so much as advice about how something works inside the rules.
Not something I'm ever likely to get myself but I recently took a look at this given its often recommended for high level NPC's. The debates swing wildly from "This is your save point for characters to "Don't use this random creatures/events in the astral can kill you and its blatantly obvious your doing this.
So I'm hoping to get a per the rules how safe and obvious is the 9th level astral projection spell. If your mage astral projects is there a silver cord that can be traced from the astral body to their physical one, if you are exploring the material plane with this is there an obvious cord trailing behind you, is the cord visible to anyone with see invisibility, if you enter an anti-magic field do you die/snap back to your body/something else? Basically if you use this is it more or less dangerous than exploring normally and how obvious would it be to creatures that you are an astral projection.
