Is anyone working on a comprehensive index for the Pathfinder setting books and adventures? Is that something the fan website guidelines would allow?

The closest I have seen would be the PathfinderWiki. Is that the kind of thing you are looking for, or do you mean a literal index like in the back of a book?

I would imagine something like what was done for Dungeon Magazine. I also did this myself.

It should list the name of the adventure, the author, the levels (and in Dungeon, what issue). It could also list notes such as location (darkmoon vale), terrain (desert) and if it is a part of an adventure path. It would be of great assistance in a couple of years when a DM have to pick a module from his vast Paizo library and do not wish to comb through it all. It would also contain all the set pieces.

I cannot see why it would violate any guidelines, it's not as if you could run the adventure without owning it.

If this ever gets done, I hope it includes all the feats, spells, magic items, prestige classes, etc. The Monster index on the Wiki is a pretty good start of what I'm looking for.

We do have a List of adventures by Level. Also people are starting tables similar to the monster table for various other things (Magic items and traits, maybe more)
