Finding an Old topic

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I stored a link to a topic regarding RotR, but now, when I click on the link, it just goes to the list of threads. How do I get to the threads no longer on the list?

Also, why is the search function so useless on these boards? All I ever get is a bunch of user profiles.

Sometimes using google to specifically search here works better.

What is it you are looking for? Perhaps we can help.

Below was the link:
http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/paizoPublishing/pathfinder/adventurePa th/runelords/runningTheManor

This was about The Skinsaw Murders.
How do you use Google to search only the RotR forum?

You can search just a specific site with google by pressing the advanced search option and putting in the site. However, it didn't work for me this time.

It wasn't very elegant, but I was able to find it with google just by searching for:

"Running the Manor" Paizo

That came up with a profile for someone who posted in the thread and I was able to follow the link to:

http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/paizoPublishing/pathfinder/adventurePa th/runelords/archives/runningTheManor

Hope that helps!

Thanks. So, it sounds like if you can't find an entry, add in "archive" and you'll find it.

The Exchange

Also, if you're comparing the two links, you'll easily see that the only difference between them is the "/archives" part, which you can simply insert into your old link. As long as the thread hasn't been moved to another topic, this should prove sufficient to find the thread.

Oh, man, am I slow. -.-
