Actually, the outrage is against the father. I don't have any children, but I wouldn't dream of SELLING one if I had. If it were due to poverty reasons, I'd give her up for adoption, not selling one and asking for an @%%load of money and justify myself saying "this is an oscar child". That's greed in a quite distilled form, using poverty as an excuse.
