Oh, I get it, you announce when any piece is attacked. I though you meant "check" in the traditional sense, the King is being attacked.
Can I take back the second move I made before white made hers?
I'll allow you to do so despite your insistance to Tensor that your second move will be as posted...after all you only post once a round and dont post again until I say so.

TURN 8: White has moved.
CHECK: White Piece checked by Knight, White Piece checked by Knight, White Piece checked short Diagonal. You are comming along nicely.
Aren't any black pieces being attacked??
I don't think "check" is the correct word. "Check" is reserved for when a king is under attack, otherwise the word "attack" (or some variant) applies.
Mostly, this post is a response to the confusion Kriegspiel is causing in my brain..

oops! Sorry! Correction Below:
TURN 8: White has moved.
CHECK: White Piece checked by two Black Pieces.
CHECK: Black Piece is checked by White.
RULE: In Kriegspiel, "Check" refers to any Piece in an Attacking Position, not just reference to Attack on a King.
Conceivably if they had wanted to make the game harder...they would have only reported the taking of Pieces.
If you like - just tell me if you want me to reduce the ammount of Info I impart and I will only tell you (a)when a move is illegal, and (b) when a Piece is taken.
