Any information on possible Pathfinder Day or release parties?

I'm wondering what Paizo's plans are for the release. Are there any plans to have a Pathfinder Weekend or anything like that to celibrate its release? A lot of my gamers in my local gaming club don't get to make the big conventions so will miss the Gencon celebration but they've really enjoyed the game day events that Wotc has been holding for their big products. I think one for Pathfinder would be nice to help promote it and encourage sales on release day or whatever day you set for an event like that. Another reason for asking is that my FLGS tends to miss out on stuff like this if it isn't announced through their distributors so want to make sure that they are informed.

Tied in with this question, I have some of my own regarding the August release date.

Will the release date coincide with GenCon and will the book be available for purchase at the show?

Is there a plan for preorders, and if so, will those attending GenCon be able to pick up their preorders on site?

This has been answered before. Yes, the release date coincides with GenCon and will be available for purchase there. All pre-orders will be shipped from the warehouse, they will not be giving pre-orders out at GenCon. If you want to purchase one at GenCon, it will be in addition to your pre-order.

And a 25% raise in pay for all their employees!!
