Sandpoint Garrison using SketchUp

Rise of the Runelords

Just got SketchUp and was trying to think of what to draw while learning to use it. Since I was inspired by the Sandpoint Cathedral drawing on this list I chose to do another Sandpoint building. Here is my interpretation of the garrison. On the map it looked around 100' x 50' and I wanted to make it pretty imposing, so went with three stories. I may try and do the interior later but for now here is the exterior.

Those look fantastic.

Great Work Russell, thank you !

I bow to your SketchUp skills! Those are awesome!

Brilliant!

One request though... can we start seeing interiors as well?

I've been dying for an interior layout for the Garrison, the Town Hall, the cathedral (done!), and the Sandpoint Lumber Mill (urgent!).

I plan to spend the next two years running Runelords, I want to make Sandpoint as realistic a home town as possible! I use a VT so sketchup interiors are a brilliant visual aid even outside of combat.

Thanks again for the garrison!

I second the request for the lumber mill.

I played it with one group with a rough sketch, would be great to have a layout for my second ROTL group

I wrote extensive flavor texts for the catherdral and made priests for the various religions. I think I will start translaiting this to english and post it

Liberty's Edge

interesting work indeed
