Change in credit card number

My bank had a recent scare with acount information being leaked. The bank issued me a new card with a slightly different number. Will this affect my previous order? It hasn't shipped yet.

It will.

There are a couple options for how we can fix it.

First is to do nothing, for now. When the goes to ship (in 8 to 16 business days from the date of purchase), the payment method will (presumably) fail. The system will then automatically send you an email with generated links you can use to change the payment method. The order will then ship in the next business day or so, after the payment method is changed. This is the best method to use if your new payment method is not one we have on file.

If we have your payment method on file, you can send me an email to customer.service@paizo.com with the order number and the last four digits of the payment method you would like to use. Then we can fix the payment method before it tries to charge and ship and it will go as soon as possible.

Finally, you can also give me a phone call (the number and business hours are in the tiny print at the bottom of this page). I can take the new payment method over the phone and put it on the existing order.
