I'm going to start a Legacy of Fire play by post campaign. I would like a faster paced group if possible.
Also, if players give me enough information I might play 2 rounds of an encounter to speed things along when I think it's reasonable.
The game will be using the Pathfinder RPG rules and any Paizo sources. WotC supplements are on a case-by-case basis (but I'm pretty reasonable so if you want it ask).
Rules info:
15 point buy
Racial hit points
Average starting gold
All races have favored class "any" (chosen at first level)
Characters get 1 trait plus one campaign trait.
(Traits supplement )
If you don't have access to the players guide for the campaign traits let me know and we'll work something out.
I'll take up to 6 players and the game starts... in a couple weeks when I get AP#19 :)

I am interested in playing in this game. This would be my first pbp on this board though I have participated in some on other boards. I would like to play a loveable half-orc barbarian named Ugh.
I lurk this board everyday (just about) so posting 5+ times a week should not be an issue for me and I have no problem having you post for me if I lag.
I'll go ahead and sign on. Not sure what I would want to play yet... Will need to dig through the player's guide.
I will say I tend to play Clerics or Druids, so I will happily take that role if no one else wants it.

Agognon: I prefer the updated Barbarian rules which Jason posted but if you want to play the Rage points direct from the book that's fine with me, just let me know which version you want to use.

I've been waiting for someone to start up a Legacy pbp! I'm interested in playing a cleric of Sarenrae.
In the interests of full disclosure, however, I did write the final chapter of the AP and I'll be running the AP for my home group, so if you want people without all that player knowledge (though of course I'll keep it separate from character knowledge), I'll step aside for them.

One Question: How fast is fast?
I'm usually on at least once a day, but my Post style is one of "if I don't need to Post then I won't make one just for Daily Post's sake".
Also I am already in a vertiable sh!tload of other PbPs, so other than the fact of wanting to play in a Legacy game, I would be interested, but willing to step back if others who are more suited step up.

Yes, that is it. You can use whichever system you prefer though.
I will use the updated rules since that looks like it will be closer to what will be in the final version of the game. Also, I think I like it better anyway.

Well I was hoping to put updates up 5 times per week. But I'm not going to be a nazi about it. If the group is waiting on a single person in combat and there is an obvious action I will probably just have the character do it.
I don't mind that you and Rob (and Ross) have insider info, I trust you not to act on it. Also, I find that my games tend to go off script a lot anyways so it's not a huge deal.

If you've made up your mind already, I'll let you take Cleric. I'll probably make an arcane caster, then.
Either a Sorceror with a fun bloodline or I'll dust off my Diviner/Chosen of Pharasma.

I have a question regarding later Feat Choices: Do you allow from other sources liike PHB2 or Splat Books, or does everything have to come from the Beta?
I was thinkng of a Monk, only because I have been toying with a concept for a little while. But it is (not wholly, but at least in flavour) dependent on some Feats from PHB2.
If not then I'll think on a concept and return with another PC to terrify the Desert dwelling minions with!

Fiery Fist & Fiery Ki Defence (and maybe Ki Blast, but I'm toying with options for the build and the first two are definates).
Concept is a Vudrani Fire Descended Monk/Fire Element Sorcerer. I haven't worked out what levels of each would be required for what I am after yet, it's still a concept, but I can have something a little more concrete soon.|

I thought about this and I think I'm going to stick with the first 6. That would be Agognon, Ross, Rob, Apathy, flash_cxxi, and Nasserath
I plan on putting the first post up Monday morning so if everyone could have their characters ready to go by then it would be great.
Alternates are: Robin, Mark Thomas, and Seeker.
Sorry guys, I would love to take everyone but I think logistics would be a mess. I'll post up here if I need any more people.
