I was curious if there have been any discussions on either having an "official" software package for Pathfinder, or will the company create it's own?
For example I use DM genie, it works for me, but it takes a lot of time I may not have, nor can I script as much as I would like to in order to automate the process of feats, adventures, etc.
Now I notice you did do some stuff for RPXplorer which is great, but it just doesn't have the GM tools done yet.

We have no desire to create our own software anytime soon. We know what we're good at, and what we're not, and we don't plan to sink a lot of time and money into making ourselves good at what we're currently not.
To that end, we're willing to enter into partnerships with people who *are* good at those things, but we can only do so when it doesn't require us to invest a lot of time—we just don't have a lot of that to spare. Take, for example, the RPGXplorer Pathfinder stuff—we didn't have to do much of anything beyond coming to an agreement there. We like those kinds of deals a lot.
I also prefer that such agreements be non-exclusive. Partly because I'd much rather people have a lot of choices, and partly because I haven't seen a single package that's just clearly and obviously better in every way than others. (It would also have to be reasonably priced and fully platform-independent to get my personal ok.)
Parties interested in such partnerships can contact us at licensing@paizo.com. Note that we're likely to only consider partnerships with developers who actually have working tools to show us; parties who don't have anything in at least a Beta form should probably wait until they do.

PCGen has been releasing PathFinder datasets for making PCs/NPCs.
There are a number of datasets available for DM's Familiar (my program) on the download page.

PCGen is great. It's also the only Mac-friendly software I've found. They've got a bunch of data sets for the adventure paths but not for the Pathfinder Society Rules yet ... hint, hint, beg, plea.
