Arcana Unearthed / Evolved

Hi folks, I'm currently running two PbPs here for 4e - 'Twisted Night' and 'The Last Breaths of Ashenport', but I'd really like to try running Arcana Unearthed/Evolved (I have the AU book rather than AE). I have previously DMed two 3.5 PbPs, both of which were single adventures which were completed, so I have a track record with d20 DMing.

Anyone interested?

I've never tried PbP before. And I don't know what Arcana Unearthed/Evolved is...But I know my way around 3.5 and Pathfinder, and I am able to post once a day.

I'm willing to purchase and read any required books.

Orange Smell, you can get an idea of some of the classes and races of Arcana Evolved/Unearthed by going to this site:

It has some of the Open Content from Arcana Evolved for you to browse through. But there's not enough there to explain everything.

Beats me. There should be a dot next to threads that you've posted on, but that's all I know.

EDIT: Actually, you can have RSS subscriptions to individual threads as well. I've done that before.

I probably don't need another pbp, but I love Arcana Unearthed/Evolved! (I, too, have AU, but I think I have a pdf of AE somewhere too)

So color me definitely interested. Are you planning on doing a one-shot adventure, or something more?

I think with PbP you can only really take it as a one-shot to begin with and then see how it goes. I am leery of planning too far ahead. Of the three PbPs I had die, 2 had this problem.

I have AU, Diamond Throne and Legacy of the Dragons, as well as Circle of Rites. I'm not going to get AE as it collects most of what I already have.

I think I found a way - using the recent posts feature in "my account". Suppose it was designed for just that.

I can do this. Would prefer to play as simple a class as possible - perhaps Warmain?

'One shot' sounds like a great starting position. It doesn't give a newbie like me much time to get up to speed though, so I'll understand if you want 'fully functional' players right from the start.

If you think that a one-shot PbP game won't give you a lot of time to get up to speed, then you've definitely never played in one before. :-)

If you don't mind another person with only access to the SRD, I'm also interested. I'm looking at either a Champion (justice or freedom) or an Unfettered. I'll take an Akashic if necessary.

Looking back through my book, I remembering why I was so impressed with AU in the first place! I've only GM'd it, never played, so now my problem is deciding what I want to play! Too many choices!
