It's a +2 enhancement bonus. IE, you could have a +1 flaming longsword.
That's a contradictory statement there, but I'll take it to mean anything adding up to +2 total is fine. Which means my PC (assuming I play someday instead of GM) will be getting a +1 Seeking bow ASAP. Sayonara incorporeal creatures!!!

Umm.. Seeking doesn't help you against incorporeal creatures (unless they have cast blur or the like.
You're confusing incorporeal creatures' 50% chance to ignore damage with an invisible creature's 50% miss chance due to total concealment. It's a common mistake.

See pg. 32 of the guidebook. (Hint: yes.)
I assume you mean pg. 23, Step 3, things you can always purchase.
For a +1 item it says "+ item cost".
Silver and cold iron are listed on other lines.
Adamantine is not listed.
It was not clear to me that one could enchant a non-standard item to +1.
So, just to be absolutely certain, are all special materials allowed?

Mithral Chain Shirt +1?
Darkwood Heavy Shield?
Dragonhide Plate Mail?

No, what's allowed is what's listed in the guide. Anything else has to be purchased from a chronicle sheet.

Which brings me another question which I actually asked elsewhere, regarding scenario #13, Prince of Augustana:

A friend of mine raised an interesting point today. He asked me about getting weapon enhancements and I told him about the decision regarding getting access through PA points. At 30 PA points he can get a +1 upgrade like “frost”, “flaming” or “shocking” under the reward “Any +2 Weapon”. He groused back that he’d be 11th level and ready to retire by the time he earned that many PA points. I did point out that every third scenario there’s a shot at getting an extra PA point (the trend stops at PFS#15 for some reason, what’s up with that?). That would put him at 8th level with a “frost weapon”. That’s a little more reasonable, but it also assumes that the PC has earned every single available PA point. Some of them are not ‘gimme’ points (as it should be) and it might be fair to say that the average PC would not have access to a weapon upgrade until 9th level after missing a few points here and there. Was this planned for? Is the faction reward system going to remain like this for Season One?
