Finnish Pantheon

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Apologies, I realize this is post may get moved a little later but since there is a lot of traffic on this part of the message board and because I’m not sure where to put this query:

Does anyone know of any gamming material pertaining to the Finnish pantheon (the gods of the Kelevela) in any sourcebooks out there ? I realize a few of the deities in FR are taken from the Finnish pantheon but I’m looking more into the actual mythological write ups that remain somewhat true to the original work. Both ‘fluff’ and ‘crunch’ material would be appreciated. I remember there was a post long ago from a writer who did work on this but I can’t seem to locate his work now. And I’m fairly certain this may have been covered in a Dragon Magazine but I can’t locate that either.

As always, thanks for the help in advance guys.

edit: Yaay Pathfinder - ok now can I stay on this part of the message board ?

Thank you BUT I am an old school player and do have Deities and Demigods (Cthulu and Elric wohoo!) as well as the remade Legends and Lore from that glorious era of the game! In fact, one of my most cherished book is the translations of the Kalevela epic.

There is even a Planescape second edition book that briefly touches on the Finnish pantheon and how they view (and are viewed by) the AD&D game worlds.

I’m looking for any further development this pantheon may have received.

And yes Ukko rocks. 'Grandfather' of Paladins and he who allows the use of the long sword to clerics since first ed !!
