The Witch Hunter General is probably a high level ranger with favoured enemies of various fiend and spell-casting types, and maybe a couple of levels in fighter and expert for the weapon specialisation and knowledge based skills.
At the moment he's partially watching for Ashaundra's reactions to his taunts, not quite sure if she knows what happened to his Flunkie or not.
She's a devil, but she's not really the casting type. She's a blackguard (was an angel paladin before she fell) and prefers to just fight and leave the magic to the 'weaker' types. Which makes this all the more irritating to Ash. It gives her reason to actually train instead of just lazing around :)

Sunny Godhead |

Sunny Godhead is going to open a new base of operations shortly. I just want everyone at the Oasis to keep a head's up. Gonna get some ideas out of my head soon and I'll be posting a final message at the soalr temple. Looging off for the day, then napping, and pulling a graveyard shift.
Enjoy the evening everybody.

Alaina, the Fire Flower wrote:Kewl beans. Alaina will be happy to hostess the parties!I'm thinking about setting up next door to the Oasis. I don't know, maybe a pathway away from the new Good-Guy Clubhouse.
Maybe a new ACME droid too.
Sounds good. Can't wait to see what you've come up with.:) Charles is right about Acme being fixed up. You could always get a Rosie version 2. (She's another model of Acme droid that helped at Club Calistria.)

The Dalesman |

Sunny Godheads temple, resort and casino will have elementals, two new types, serving the board members. Just need to lay down some ideas, groundworks and some rules.
I have Friday and Saturday off. So when I'm ready to go, I'll drop a message with an official opening.
Ooo...Shiny! :)

I have added a new alias whom I may have some fun with shortly; with the Wraith Lord having been blown up by Kobold Cleaver, the Flame Troll currently exiled, and the Runelord for all current intents and purposes (probably) more neutral than anything else, I have been feeling a little short in the antagonists department recently, despite a spell of foot-in-mouth by the Flunkie.

The Dalesman |

I'm still occasionally working on the profile; I'm not sure whether to stat up her abilities or not...
I know some of us put up stats just to keep things straight in our own minds, and have an easy reference when books weren't handy (even for flavor stuff). I also did it so that Devlyn could be run or moved around even though I may be offline.
If it helps your concept by jotting things down, go for it. It also gives you a cool NPC to throw into your own games, ready to go! :)

Whatever you're planning, I hope come vvery soon. I'm getting tired of infantile behavior and other forms of retard farming cluttering the Sanctum.
Oh yea, I still need to introduce my other persona. A rouge/sorcerer/duskblade. Could you guy use a good back allley man?
The silly stuff never goes completely away, although it does get cut to a minimum when there's a lot of drama going on. Sorry it's been slow today. It usually picks up a little in the evening. And I've not been on much today myself. My cough finally started to get better, and all day I keep falling asleep. Apparently now that I'm not trying to hack up a lung, it's time to catch up on all the sleep I missed in the last few days.
And we can always use another hero :) LJ is just about beside herself trying to figure out where they can find more allies. Since everybody always seems to come with an army and all :)

Watch yourself with that cough. Bronchitis in Dec, followed by pneumonia in Jan. 6 weeks of coughing. Better now, but paranoid.

Thanks. My doctor agrees with that sentiment. Because of my asthma, every time I get a cold I end up with bad bronchial inflammation. And about half the time it gets infected.

Smagnavast (behind the scenes) is now reporting back and consulting with his mistress.
Candle Lighter probably knows a little bit about Nirellia; it is unlikely that anyone else does, and any sort of divinations will tell those seeking information about her (directly) will likely send the diviner to 'go ask candle Lighter'. She is off the radar with regard to being 'accidentally' picked up by divinations. Any such spells will indicate Smagnavast is apparently working on his own, (or if he is working for anyone, then is working for someone able to blank divinations).

Charles Evans 25 |
In his current form, and because he's good with divination, KC has a sort of mage sight on all the time. However, it isn't always reliable.
Since KC knows CL from a while back, he might remember dimly, but odds are will not think it's actually someone he knows of until he learns of Nirellia.
How long has Kobold Cleaver known Candle Lighter?
I'm thinking that Candle Lighter might have known her from the days when he was a very young living dragon. I'm not sure if she would have been a mentor, teacher, or some other form of inspiration. Unless Candle Lighter is very old, I'm thinking that she predates him to some extent, given that she is at least half the age of the multiverse. In so far as she is known, it would probably be as a dragon ('The Night Dragon') who is a myth amongst dragons, only occasionally glimpsed or known by a very (lucky?) few dragons.
Sort of like in films everybody's heard of Father Christmas, but nobody actually believes he exists until he shows up.

Good Morning everybody!
[Reads multitude of posts from last night]
Okay - I turn in early yesterday, and somebody decides to go and muck about with the Oasis? What the heck is that all about!? :P
I guess when lynora logs in this morning Allura and Devlyn will take care of the other 6 skeleton things. With the wards that have been put in place at the Oasis, though, I don't think most undead would even get past the treeline. We'll figure something out to keep it entertaining... :)

Seriously contemplating a good avatar as a Guardian of the Boards. We have an army of evil ones popping up like dandelions.
Protect Thread Ground Rules/Integrity might be one skill. The thread owners sound like they need help.
Not a bad idea. It would level the playing field a bit...

Sounds good. We do need a little help not getting our base(s) blown to smithereens :)

With regard to Lords of the Boards, the only overtly evil one, Serafina/Innocent Blood, had gone quiet with Patrick being busy elsewhere, and both Kobold Cleaver and VT Plantjack are Lords/Champions of the boards.
The only reasonable counter to use of boards energy to 'know' about a subject seemed to me to be a villain with access to the same source whom I presumed would be able (amongst other things) to use it to keep research into her whereabouts and doings vague.
Edit:
Hmm. I don't know. Maybe I'm thinking a bit too much in the mode of a DM trying to construct a villain who can survive for at least a round against a munchkin player. One of those players with a 2nd edition Elven Fighter-Mage character who charge in and kill something with a longsword before it has the time to blink and say 'huh?'
<shudder>

Umm, I count at least two deities (Sunny G and Lynora-Jill) on the good guys' side.
I count (a big chocolate-cake gobbling ;) ) 0 on the bad guys' side.
Technically Lynora-Jill is more of a proto-deity. She has the potential to become one, but is still quite mortal. When she overreaches she tends to experience unfortunate consequences. She has no more real power than a high level cleric.

Yes, I think you are overthinking. A villain doesn't have to be all-powerful or come with armies to be a challenge. We're not necessarily as powerful as we sound like we are. And so far we've been taken in by every cunning plan that comes along :) I think the scary dragon lady is a good addition to the villains team. Trust us not to be jerks about it. The point of the game is for everybody to have fun.
Edit: And it's already been established that KC is Lawful Evil.

That post made me laugh...
Not least becuase I suspect it's probably so true. :)
