Greetings!
There is a particular trap in Seven Days to the Grave that can be bypassed by a successful Turn Undead check. How should I go about converting said trap to the Pathfinder Channel Energy system?
The obvious choice would be to say that dealing a certain amount of damage disables/destroys the trap. However, how should I go about finding this number? The doors in question require a 6HD turn result, but is there a general case for converting other traps that can be bypassed via Turn Undead checks?
Thanks,
Tamago

I had wondered about this myself, in regards to Skeletons of Scarwall. I think on the fly I went for 3 or 4 "hp" per CR of the haunt/trap/etc... Don't forget that in SoS one of the Harrow point abilities allows Clerics to raise the effectiveness of their "turning" or channel energy attempt, so don't be afraid to make it challenging.
That being said, there are a lot of things to burn channel energy on in SoS, so its more than an annoyance, it can be a difficult tactical decision with ramifications on down the line. I suspect its an easier choice to make in Seven Days, but nonetheless, you are essentially setting the stage with that encounter for later, anyway IMO.
Skimming through I saw that most of the haunts in SoS were CR 9 iirc, so that would be 27-36 hp allowing a 11-13th level cleric to defeat it with a single channel energy roughly one third to one quarter of the time, especially if they burn one or more Harrow points.

further edit: I don't know if this would work for you with 7DttG, but what I mean is that if you choose one system for determining these encounters stick with it thru the AP.
