Celwynvian Charge

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Okay I'm not sure where to put this. In the city of Magnimar is a white wood and crystal tree called the Celwynvian Charge which is supposedly a gift from the (I am guessing by the name) Celwynvian Elves.
Isn't Celwynvian the abandoned Elvish city?
Help me out here, please.

Celwynvian isn't exactly abandoned. It's ... complicated. And the Elves don't talk about it. They don't want you to know. But if you wish, the Second Darkness AP holds the answers !

Yes but do those answers include the question of who gave the tree to Magnimar and why?

No, but there are good elves from Crying Leaf near Celwynvian, who try very hard to keep the activities of Mierani a secret. To the outside world Celwynvian is an elven city that isn't welcoming to visitors, but engages in some small trade and diplomacy.

Doesn't have to come from Celvynian. You can french kiss people everywhere - or, at least, potentially. They still have to be okay with it, otherwise, you'll find yourself behind what we call the Swedish Curtain around here. And that one doesn't have to be from Sweden, either!

Okay, my Shin'Rakorath special ops PCs have just arrived in Magnimar, and they're going to want to know the story. Guess I need to make something up. :)

I'm thinking that the elves of Crying Leaf gave it to the people of Magnimar after the death of Aroden. It's a self-renewing symbol of life coming after death. What have other people done with this monument?
