I'd also be interested in this.
Well, that makes two of us :) Hopefully between this thread and the one on PFS General Discussions, we can find or even form a regular group for Pathfinder play using Virtual Tools.
I saw your reply on that thread. I don;t know how tight money is for you now, but, you can get combo headphone/microphones for your computer relatively inexpensively. Check this one out for less than $10.00.

hey, i've been thinking of running an "e-game". i've used maptool and skype (both free) for a previous game. it worked out pretty well. the biggest downfall was getting everyone to show up. it's a lot easier for people to blow you off if they don't have to face you or talk to you ever again. anyway, what kind of game are you looking for. would you be interested in say... the shackled city? what day and time and how often.
you could also check out "penandpapergames.com" they have tons of posts for on-line and in person games.

if you guys are interested, i am willing to run the "Shackled City" adventure path using the pathfinder beta. i've run it before so the prep time wouldn't be so bad as i am like many others with limited time. not to mention that it's a kick ace campaign.
notes:
can play between 5ish and midnightish EST. days negotiable.
i am willing to take up to six players.
open sources- pathfinder beta, any official 3.5 DnD books except the book of nine swords, weapons of legacy, campaign specific and evil requiring options
software- skype or yahoo, maptools
that's all i have for now

Tentatively interested! As I've mentioned in another thread my connection doesn't much like running Skype and something else, but it can do it... just a little slowly at times.
5PM - 12AM EST is 9AM - 4PM in my timezone... which means I could play only on a weekend. (Which means, a Friday or Saturday night for you Americans.)
I'd love to play this AP though, I was involved in a game of it which fell apart midway through Jdaz... Jzadi... uhh... I have no idea how to spell it, but you get my drift. :) It seemed really fun, the little I got to play!

I'd love to play.
Weekend evenings would be good for me as well, but, I'd only be able to commit to two weekends a month at most because of family stuff (three kids and a wife).
I've got Skype and RPTools, but, haven't really tried running them both at the same time. I have used a similar piece of software (www.vassalengine.org). I may drop out of Skype every once and a while because of bandwidth way out here in the boonies, but, otherwise shouldn't be a problem for me.

ok, how about saturdays bi monthly from 5ish to 11/12ish? i'll consider eric the red, and kiri confirmed. i'll start another post to recruit a few more. for now, here's a few guidelines so you can start thinking about what kind of pc to make. feel free to work together to form a balanced party.
Ability Scores- point buy, 20 pts, PRPG pg. 5
Race and Class- if of a standard race and class, you may also be a “local” which gives knowledge (local) as a permanent class skill and access to a bonus campaign specific trait. If your race and/or class is from a source other than PRPG, than you are considered an outlander and do not gain the bonus trait.
Starting Hit Points- the racial option on PRPG pg. 14
Alignment- Non-Evil only
Greyhawk deities
Starting gold- all PC's receive the maximum starting gold according to their class.
